Total relaxation in the cider orchard

If you need to relax and enjoy nature without noise and disturbing lights, Snoremark Glamping is less than 35 km from City Hall Square. Here we have our little green oasis with luxuriously furnished large glamping tents. We’ve created the perfect match between luxury inside the tent and great outdoors outside the canvas. You’ll arrive in a tent with high ceilings, freshly made beds and comfortable wicker furniture.

The tents are set up between our trees in the cider plantation and overlooking fields, the bird sanctuary at Gundsømagle lake and Roskilde Fjord. Here’s the worst noise you’ll be exposed to: bird whistles and sheep bleating. When you want to study the stars in the late evening hours, the worst light pollution is a full moon.

Get into gear, it’s good for your mind and body.

Glamping in the cider orchard

If you’re looking for peace, quiet and nature at its best, you now have the opportunity to settle down in one of our large, well-appointed glamping tents. Here you get the perfect mix of nature and luxury. There are comfortable beds, wicker furniture for relaxing, a sideboard with crockery and the option to make your own coffee or tea, and outside is a garden table, chairs and a pallet sofa.

The tents are pitched between the trees in our cider plantation, which is located in a fantastic natural area within walking distance to the bird sanctuary and reed forest at Gundsømagle Lake and the salt marshes along Roskilde Fjord. This means we have a very varied birdlife with huge flocks of geese, ducks, swans, eagles and other exciting birds of prey, flocks of starlings, lapwings, swallows and at night bats. The plantation is also regularly visited by hares, foxes and deer, while we do what we can to keep our seed sheep out of the plantation.

Breakfast/brunch is served at the brewery and includes homemade bread, eggs from the farm’s chickens, honey from the friendly bees, homemade jam, cheese, lamb sausage, apple juice – apart from the honey, everything is of course organic. Lunch and dinner are available at a number of our local cafés and restaurants that work with local ingredients, but you can also cook in the outdoor kitchen in the plantation. Here you can stock up on lamb chops or sausages from our sheep – or pick up vegetables and meat from some of our great local producers.

If the weather isn’t great, you’re welcome to take a seat in the Orangery by the courtyard and, of course, stop by the Mead Brewery, where we’re always ready with great tasting experiences of our exclusive mead, cider and gin varieties.

The tents are designed for two people – extra people over 2 years old cost DKK 200 per person and you sleep on a cot. Children under 2 years old can stay for free and can either sleep in the double bed or we can set up a weekend bed – we only have one. Payment for extra beds is made during the visit.

For special needs, call Thomas on +45 4045 2565

To maximize your time in the plantation, you can check in as early as 14:00 and don’t need to check out until 11:00, leaving time to enjoy breakfast at your leisure.
